Five design features that you wouldn’t expect in a standard Home Development

If we learnt anything in 2020, it was how important it is to feel comfortable within your own home. It should be a place of inspiration, happiness and reflect the needs and lifestyle of you and your family.

After spending more time than usual at home in the last 12 months, you may have come to realise that it’s time for a change, but the thought of building a home with all the character, grandeur and bespoke detail that you imagine may be a little out of your budget – whether that be time or money.

Lucky for you we’re already a step ahead.

Come with us as we show you a sneak peek inside our brand new home development, currently under construction on Elizabeth St, North Richmond, NSW. Inside these three spectacular single storey homes, you’ll discover how we’ve raised the standards of complete home design and features, far exceeding what you’d expect from other home builders.  Each of our homes has been uniquely crafted to suit different tastes and styles so you’re sure to find one that feels like it was built specially for you.

It’s not just the tile, but how you lay it.

One sure way to ensure your home gives an amazing first impression is with a beautiful tile that gives off a sense of character and charm.

As you walk through The Hawkesbury you’ll find beautiful off-white 600x600 tiles flowing throughout the living and dining areas which enhance the size of the space and creating a sense of grandeur and ultimate luxury.

Meanwhile, stepping into Elizabeth 1 you’ll see that it’s not just the tile selection but the way they’re laid that can make all the difference.  As you step inside, you’ll be wowed by the timber look tiles laid in a Herringbone pattern giving you inviting visual appeal as soon as you walk through the front door. This is amplified with extra-wide hallways and extended through to the main living area to add a natural flow through the open floor plan.

The only thing better than a big island bench is a Butler’s Pantry.

For most families, the kitchen is considered the heart of the home. With so much time spent in this space, it’s important that it’s as functional as it is beautiful.

We’ve gone well beyond just premium kitchen cabinetry and high-quality finishes, with each of our homes boasting a spacious three metre island bench with the finest quality Smartstone engineered Quartz and exquisite waterfall edges. This perfect entertaining centrepiece also feature pendant lighting hung just above the bench to eliminate this beautiful design feature.

While perfectly tucked away, it’s the Butler’s pantry that’s sure to impress! Designed for maximum usage and functionality, it includes a sink with premium tapware, ample bench space and abundant storage.

Ceilings that soar high above.

Open-plan design allows for light (and life) to flow more freely through the home, but for added grandeur, you can’t go past raked ceilings and skylights.

These spectacular architectural features take great precision and craftsmanship and so are rarely seen in standard new home designs. Reclaiming this often-wasted space, adds vast depth, natural views, greater sunlight and airflow, as well as a mesmerising aesthetic characteristic.

Adding texture with wall panelling.

Wall panelling can help to create the perfect mix of traditional and modern design. By adding texture to the walls, it gives the entire home more character and charm.

Both our Elizabeth 1 and Elizabeth 2 homes include wall panelling features down the hallways – but it’s Elizabeth 2 that will dazzle you with its full height V grove feature wall in the family room, adding an exquisite textured Hamptons feel.

Plenty of room to make it your own.

Your home is personal, and it should fit with your style and your lifestyle. Over the years, your family will grow (whether that be in size or age) and your home should have the versatility to evolve with your changing needs.

We’ve kept this in mind throughout the design process of our three new homes from layout to design. Each home features two family/media rooms that could be used as a formal and informal sitting area, kids’ playroom, office space, theatre room, rumpus or anything else you could possibly need. In addition, keeping the colour palettes to soft, neutral tones and using subtle features affords you the opportunity to inject your personal touch and style to each room, while ensuring timeless beauty for many years to come.
